Interview With Annabella From the Planning Committee
Annabella is a part of the planning committee for our Youth Climate Summit. She is working with her team to organize details and get things ready for our summit later in the year. I asked her a few questions about why she joined and what she is interested in.
What made you want to join the Youth Climate Summit?
I wanted to join something that could make a difference and that could also help and improve the environment.
What are you excited for about the Climate Summit?
I’m excited to start contacting people and to start planning an event that could impact people.
Why did you choose the committee you are on?
I chose this committee because it advertised that I would be able to be responsible for some of our guests and because I thought it was the committee that interacted with people the most.
What made you interested in the Climate Summit (why are you interested in this topic)?
It was interesting for me because I would like to have an impact on people and the world and therefore I joined so I could start doing this.
What made you want to plan the Climate Summit?
I would like to help plan the event, I would like to contribute to how the event is going to run and how we are present this to students and staff.
What do you enjoy about planning the Summit?
I mostly like the communicating part and the organizing part because those are two things I enjoy and would like to improve on.
What do you think about the planning so far? Do you think it is successful? Why or why not?
So far I am very impressed, everything is communicated well and I like how Trello allows us to express our ideas and discuss ideas.
